What is the Pupil Premium?
The Pupil Premium is additional funding given to publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of pupils who are vulnerable to underachievement and close the gap between them and their peers. The school receives Pupil Premium funding for pupils who have been either registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years or who have been in care for 6 months or longer. If you believe your child may be eligible for Free School Meals then please contact our school office as soon as possible.
What is the funding used for?
The school’s priority for all children is to ensure that they receive quality first teaching and support to enable them to make excellent progress and perform well academically. We use the pupil premium income to fund a huge range of additional provisions which support these key pupils and their families. You can read about how we spend this funding by downloading our pupil premium reports.
