Pupil Leadership Team
The Pupil Leadership Team is made up from a representative from each class who is paired up with a mentor from Year 6. Each week, on a Friday, they have a breakfast meeting (complete with croissants and orange juice!) with Miss Carter to discuss important issues facing the school. After lunch that day they feed back to their class and gather the views of the pupils to feed into the next meeting. Issues discussed include: effective use of the playground, the school dinner menu, deciding our school values, which charity to support, the rights and responsibilities of pupils/staff in Watcombe School and the pupil questionnaire. This system is a very effective way of giving the children a real voice within the school decision making process. We are very proud of our Pupil Leadership Team and the way in which they support our democratic school.
