Dolphins are busy being artists!

Dolphins have had a busy week in topic, practising our new art skills. We have been learning about line, texture, tone and colour. We have used all of these skills to create sketches of natural objects.

Here are some songs and videos we’ve enjoyed:

In maths, we have been using our place value knowledge to practise measuring. We know to use centimetres to measure and that we can write ‘cm’. We know to start at zero but if theere is no zero, like a tape measure, we can start measuring at the beginning of the ruler.

In literacy, we have been looking at questions and using question marks. We know that questions have a question word at the beginning such as what, could, would, and they have a question mark at the end.
