Last week we finished our History topic about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. The children enjoyed learning all about life during these periods. They had fun out in our forest school area becoming Vikings for the afternoon and even trying some of their food.

This half term, we will be learning how to sew and will be making our own fabric bookmarks. We look forward to sharing them with you.

What a busy half term!

This half term, the children in Seahorses and Lobsters have been very busy!

First, they became Artists. They learned lots of different sketching and shading techniques and created their own sketch of Brunel Manor which will be displayed at the Manor.

Now, they have become Historians. They had a visit from Clive Pig to hook them into their new topic ‘Smashing Saxons! Vicious Vikings!’ They are going to be learning all about life during the Anglo-Saxon and Viking period and will be having an exciting afternoon in the forest school area becoming Vikings for a day.
