To start our new Science topic of Light and Sound off, Seahorses and Lobsters had the pleasure of learning how to make shadow puppets and putting on a performance. We all had lots of fun and are excited to learn more…

Take a look at our pictures and we are looking forward to seeing our video later in the week.

Rotten Romans

Posted: 14 September 2018

Last week, Seahorses and Lobsters received a letter from a historian in London asking them to help. He sent us some Roman artefacts and has asked us to research about their way of life and find out about one of strongest armies in the world. The children are very enthusiastic about becoming historians for the next half term!

Smashing Saxons!

On Wednesday, G1 and G2 had a visit from an Anglo-Saxon to kick start their new History topic ‘SMASHING SAXONS’. The children enjoyed listening to stories about the Anglo-Saxons and the superhero Beowulf. They were able to become Anglo-Saxons themselves and tell the story through drama. The children are excited to learn more about the Anglo-Saxons for the next few weeks.
