KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to KS2 for September. This role is fixed term for 12 months with the potential to extend further. The position is open to anyone with experience or non-experienced candidates, with the potential to train as an apprentice to gain the supporting teaching and learning qualification.

You will need to be enthusiastic, have a knowledge of how children learn and be committed to a whole school collaborate approach. You must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and strive to ensure all children make good progress.

We wish to appoint an excellent and inspiring Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join the outstanding school teaching team from September. 

You will lead and manage groups and classes of children within the Early Years and KS1 part of the school to ensure consistent and cohesive learning. You must have experience working in a school environment and it is important that you are personable, friendly, adaptable and able to work both within a team and under your own initiative. As a Level 4 Teaching Assistant you will demonstrate a good understanding of teaching and learning, and be able to communicate at all levels, with pupils, staff and parents. This post will suit an experienced Teaching Assistant, or someone who is considering a career within the education sector.
