Getting musical with The Jamming Station

Last week we had a visit from The Jamming Station, who are based in Totnes. They came in to tell us about workshops they hold for people of all ages and show us some of the electronic musical instruments they use.

The Jamming Station was founded 8 years ago, and has grown over the years. They received funding from The Big Lottery and were able to purchase more instruments and now have access to a regualr venue to hold the workshops.

This week, we were incredibly fortunate to have two members of the Jamming Station come back to school to work with our class. We worked in small groups to learn about some very different instruments, then we used those instruments to create our own sounds.
