Music with Mrs Looker

We are lucky enough to be able to have Mrs Looker for our music lessons at the moment.

We have been learning to use a new instrument called a Boomwhacker. These are plastic tubes, tuned to play different notes, which we can use to play tunes together.

These plastic tubes can create different sounds dependant on what surface you strike them on. We experimented with different surfaces around the classroom, and on our bodies, to find the best sounds.

Initially we practised in small groups but have now been able to play together as a class.
