Dolphins are amazed at their green fingers!

Dolphins are amazed at how tall their plants have grown. We feel a bit disappointed about the plants we have outside in the vegetable beds as we haven’t seen much growth since all the heavy wind and rain… but we’re very pleased about our runner beans, tomatoes, sunflowers, nasturtiums and herbs in the class room. We can’t wait to bring them home to show you our hard work!

We went on a microhabitat hunt around the school grounds. We looked at small areas where living things were working together. We had a great time naming the plants we found.

We have been looking at food chains too. We know that most food chains begin with a plant and then energy is moved to the different animals in the food chain.
